The project that we've worked on at Burnbank Street, Lake Wendouree, Victoria isn’t just a home, it’s a story of light, craft and seamless connection between inside and out.

 Located in Echuca, Victoria, the Mt Terrick complex is a multifaceted commercial development that seamlessly integrates a modern gym, a dedicated swim school, and a premium early learning center into a vibrant community hub. The architecture ultilises expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing that floods the interiors with natural daylight, pairing robust brickwork and timber-look accents with thoughtful landscaping to dissolve the boundaries between indoor and outdoor environments. The exterior is defined by striking, angular rooflines and contrasting corrugated metal cladding that establish a contemporary landmark presence, balanced by the approachable scale of inviting curved brick entryways. SON Architects comprehensively guided this vision from the initial concept design entirely through to detailed construction documentation, ensuring operational efficiency, rigorous compliance, and a highly refined spatial experience for the community.

Every element of the layout is carefully considered to maximise natural light, encourage airflow, and create a sense of spaciousness and calm. The open-plan design invites family and friends to move effortlessly between living, dining, and outdoor areas, fostering a relaxed and harmonious lifestyle.

This subdivision project is planned with convenience and efficiency at its core. Lots are oriented to maximise sunlight and natural ventilation, supporting energy-efficient homes with reduced running costs. Every detail, from green corridors to practical lot sizes, is designed to balance lifestyle and sustainability. The result is a smart, future-ready neighbourhood where residents enjoy both everyday convenience and the long-term benefits of thoughtful, energy-conscious design.

This service station design reinforces the brand’s identity while rethinking the user experience on the motorway. An enhanced open café and rest area offers comfort for travellers, complemented by integrated greenery that softens the site and creates a welcoming stopover environment.
